Providing effective service to satisfy our community’s needs.
We are a small city nestled into the foothills of the Wallowa Whitman National Forest, located approximately 54 miles from Baker City, OR and 18 Miles from the Idaho State border along Hells Canyon and the Snake River. Halfway and the surrounding Pine Valley area is primarily a ranch community that thrives off our supportive and welcoming nature. The winter months welcome all with an abundant snow pack suitable for snow shoeing, sledding, snowmobiling, skiing and snowboarding. The spring, summer and fall seasons allow for all your summer recreation needs with Rodeos, hiking, water sports, camping, and more.
Come visit us and leave with a smile!
